Sensitivity selection
ShockWatch 2 shock indicator selection calculator
Enter the parcel dimensions and weight — the calculator will calculate the volume and recommend a sensitivity (G rating) based on the manufacturer's selection chart for ShockWatch 2 and ShockWatch 2 QR shock indicators.
SELECTION IS FOR GUIDANCE ONLY — THE FINAL SENSITIVITY SHOULD BE CONFIRMED THROUGH PACKAGE DROP TESTS. IMPORTANT: THE CALCULATOR PROVIDES A SUGGESTED STARTING POINT. IF YOU SHIP VERY FRAGILE EQUIPMENT (E.G. OPTICS, ELECTRONICS OR MEDICAL EQUIPMENT) IN THICK, SHOCK-ABSORBING PACKAGING, AN INDICATOR ONE SENSITIVITY LEVEL HIGHER (LOWER G) THAN SUGGESTED BY WEIGHT AND DIMENSIONS ALONE IS USUALLY SELECTED.
QR code version
You can order an indicator with the selected sensitivity in the ShockWatch 2 QR version — the recipient reads it using a smartphone, and you get a photo, date and GPS location of the reading in the cloud. See how it works →
